The Grand Seiko 5722-9010 belongs to the historic 57GS generation and represents Grand Seiko's evolving design and finishing standards during the 1960s. This 1966 example features the distinctive angular case architecture of the period with a Cap Gold finish and a manually wound mechanical movement.

The watch presents particularly well for its age. The case retains its original lines with light wear consistent with a vintage timepiece. The dial remains very clean with minimal visible aging, while the crystal is in excellent condition. The caseback also presents very cleanly.

The movement is currently running very well, with observed timekeeping of approximately 1–2 seconds per day and strong amplitude. Beat error is elevated and is disclosed accordingly, although the watch is presently keeping excellent time. Service history is unknown.

The watch is accompanied by a vintage Grand Seiko presentation box with the interior insert missing. A Seiko-signed buckle is also included; the buckle is believed to be a modern replacement rather than original to the watch.
